Shows On Fire - before the error message about datatables appears.

ShowsOnFire.com is/was a website that provides information about concert tickets going on sale soon. Their main purpose is to provide a list of tickets, show times, and listings for theaters and arenas near the user. One of the biggest issues with ShowsOnFire is that they are unable to update their data in real time and where a theater might have five showings on a particular day, you will only see the most recent two. This makes it difficult to plan around what events are available for sale.

The site seems to have been abandoned by the developers and has not bee updated at all in some time, possibly for COVID related reasons or the changing concert climate - who knows.

The Alternative: Box Office Fox

We’ve mentioned Fox before, it pulls in data from Ticketmaster and a few other primary source ticketing sites and brings in Presale Passwords, uses AI to make a reasonable guess as to the profitability of an event and even includes WikiPedia info and YouTube videos of performers.

Verdict: Shows On Fire is broken and until the devs fix it the best alternative we’ve seen is Box Office Fox.

May 24 UPDATE: We emailed Shows On Fire and have not received a reply in a week about their service being offline and broken, still recommending Box Office Fox as an alternative.
