Here is a tip you can use: Have you heard that many venues will release tickets to a performance about a week before the date of the performance? These seats are released from group sales and whichever blocks of tickets are being held for the performers friends and family etc. There is often another final release of tickets sometimes really good ones just one or two hours before the performance is scheduled to start. Of course it is nice to be able to plan ahead and knowing that you have early access to tickets during a pre-sale is the best way to be absolutely sure you get your tickets to the show.
