When you want to buy presale tickets or even tickets during a public-onsale for a popular show you might want to dig out that old iPad, extra iphone or whichever old laptop you may have lying around and put it back into service as a second or even third screen when you're buying your tickets. Why take the extra steps? Is it worth the extra effort to see Mars Volta? That's basic: it is the aggravating virtual waiting room. Essentially having a few devices waiting" in the virtual waiting room you get an improved chance to unlock tickets earlier and potentially get access to closer seat locations. To really put this idea to work for you, you should already have 2 or 3 different ticketmaster accounts ready to use and get them logged-in on each device. Another strategy is to login to your ticketmaster account once you are fully through the virtual waiting room and can select seats or are shown specific seats that you can order. One fair warning: Don't log in to the same account on 3+ devices and join the queue on each one - you could get kicked from several of the devices. We've had some mixed reports about getting removed from the waiting room, we believe it is better to be safe than sorry, so either you create the extra accounts or login after you have gotten through the virtual waiting room.
