If you want to order presale tickets or tickets as they go on-sale to the public for a a really really popular event you might want to dig out that old iPad, extra windows phone or whichever smart device you may have and put it to good use as a second or third screen for when you are buying your tickets.
Why take the extra steps? Is it worth the extra effort to see Humbe?
That's simple: that is the pesky "Virtual waiting room".
Essentially having multiple devices "lined up"" in the queue-it ticket queue you get a significantly higher chance to unlock tickets earlier and maybe get access to better seating locations.
To really put this strategy to work, you ought to have 2 or 3 separate Ticketmaster accounts ready to use and get them logged-in on each device.
Another strategy is to access your account once you are fully through the virtual waiting line and can select seats or are shown specific seats that you can buy.
Fair warning: Do not log in to the same account on multiple devices and join the queue on each one - you could get booted out from several of the devices. We have had some conflicting reports about getting removed from the queue, we believe it is better to be safe than sorry, so either you make a few extra accounts or login after you have gotten through the virtual waiting room.
